What You Can Do To Fix The Problem

There are five simple steps so that you could get over the issues on your own without bringing the machine to the service center and spending a lot of money. Below are the five steps you should try:

First Step

The first step you need to do is to gently pick up the filter out of the machine. The filter feels just like a sponge. Take the sponge to a sink and rinse with clean fresh water. Furthermore, you might want to squeeze the sponge until it dries overnight. After successfully drying up the sponge, you can put it back where it belongs, that is in the filter machine.

So you have already cleaned the filter and put it back in the machine. Dyson recommends that we clean the filter once every three months and if we have a pet they recommend doing it once a week so it would effectively boost the usage of the product and minimize the problem that could happen on the machine.

Second Steps

The second step you can do to make your Dyson vacuum work again is to remove the pipe from the machine by pressing the button around the pipe and see inside the pipe if there is something that is holding in the way. You can blow on one end of the pipe side to see if the airflow is coming out or not on the other side of the pipe.

If the airflow is clogged, what you can do to handle the problem is by using a hanger or some sort of stuff that has the same function to remove something that interferes with the way inside the pipe. So the clogged item will go away and confirm your Dyson vacuum can be used again. After you have done checking and removing the problem inside your pipe, you can put the pipe again back to where it belongs and you are good to go.

Third Steps

The third step to checking another problem within your Dyson vacuum machine is to check the inside of the valve. The valve is located on the side of the machine. What you need to do to remove the side valve is by pinching on each side of the valve. After you successfully take the side valve, try blowing it out with your mouth to feel if the air is coming through or not.

The process more or less follows the second step, you can use a hanger or a stick and sort of stuff to remove the clogged item inside of the valve, then after you have finished removing it, you can put it again where it exists.

Four Steps

The four steps you can also do are by checking if the two seals, which are located on the side and top of the bin are well-clicked. When you are sure the two seals are firmly clicked, then you are ready to use it again.

Last Step

The last thing you can do is to see the bristles located on the bottom of the machine. Do the bristles look like a worn-out toothbrush or not?
